Using the poll

The People's Poll costs nothing, has no ads, and sells nothing. There is no subscription and nothing to buy.

Each device gets one ballot a week. Edit it as much as you like until voting closes — only the final version counts, and it counts once.

Deliberately stuffing the poll — scripting ballots, cycling devices to vote repeatedly, or otherwise trying to swing the result — is the one thing we ask you not to do. Ballots that look like that may be removed from the count.

Your rankings and picks stay yours. By submitting a ballot you let us count it in the poll and show it on its own shareable page.

If you add a display name it appears publicly on that page and on any image shared from it. Don't use someone else's name, and don't put anything in that field you wouldn't want on a public web page. We may remove display names that are abusive or impersonate someone.

The poll and the pick'em are for entertainment. This is not gambling, there is no entry fee, no prize and no wagering. Nothing here is betting advice.

Team names and logos belong to the schools. They're used here to identify teams, and no endorsement by any school, conference or the NCAA is implied.

The site is provided as-is. Schedules, scores and rankings come from third-party data and can be wrong, late or missing, which means a record or a points total can change when the underlying result is corrected.

We can't promise the site is always available or that data is never lost, and we're not liable for anything that follows from using it.

Features, scoring rules and these terms may change as the season goes on, and the site could be paused or shut down. Meaningful changes to how the game is scored will be announced in the app rather than quietly applied mid-week.
